The Montessori Shelf 3 Tier is a versatile, thoughtfully designed storage solution that supports independence, organization, and child led learning at every stage. Handmade in our shop from premium Baltic birch wood, the shelf balances strength with a clean, timeless design that fits naturally into any learning environment. Its open structure creates an inviting space that nurtures curiosity, focus, and exploration, making it well suited for playrooms, bedrooms, and classrooms alike.
With a generous 12 inches of space between each shelf, children of all ages can comfortably access toys, books, and learning materials. Younger children benefit from the low, open design, while older children continue to use the full height of the shelf as their interests and activities grow. Each shelf is built to be exceptionally sturdy, supporting up to 150 pounds.
Available in multiple lengths, the Montessori Shelf 3 Tier is easy to mix and match with other RAD pieces to create a cohesive setup that works for your space. The shelf ships unassembled, with tools and clear instructions included for straightforward setup.
Designed primarily for indoor use, this shelf may also be used outdoors for short periods, though prolonged exposure to moisture and direct sunlight is not recommended.

How much is shipping?
We offer FREE economy shipping for all of our bundles when shipped in the United States. Economy shipping is also FREE domestically for any orders over $85. Standard or expedited shipping is available for an additional fee on all domestic orders.

Why is my order being shipped in different packages?
We store inventory at different locations. Some of our items come directly from the manufacturers. These products will have it listed in their product descriptions.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We offer shipping through USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
When will I receive my order?
Orders shipped via economy shipping take about 5-8 business days to arrive if within the domestic US. Standard shipping can take 3-5 days business days to arrive if within the domestic US. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email. Please allow 5-7 business days on average for your order to be packed.
Why is my item arriving in a reused box?
We are committed to using reusable, recyclable, or biodegradable packaging materials and supplies when shipped directly from us. In an effort to reduce landfill waste and be as eco-friendly as possible, your items may arrive in a clean and sturdy reused box.
If your order is coming from one of our partner manufacturers, they will ship using their own shipping materials.
What happens if my order gets stuck or lost in the mail?
All of our orders are sent with insured shipping and handling. If an order gets stuck at customs, sent back or even lost during the delivery process, we apologize! The postal service is out of our control. However, in cases like this, because the packages are insured, we will send you a new package with quicker shipping and full tracking, if possible. Please see our refund and return policy for when these might be applicable to shipping situations.
Will I be charged for customs and taxes if receiving order outside the US?
You may be liable to pay for duties and taxes once you receive your order. Import taxes, duties and related customs fees may be charged once your order arrives at its final destination, which is determined by your local customs office. Payment of these charges and taxes are your responsibility and will not be covered by us. We are not responsible for delays caused by the customs department in your country. For further details of charges, please contact your local customs office.
